The first step in membership actually happens BEFORE you become a member!
You must first decide on your Tattoo and Herd Prefix.
Tattoo Prefix – is the 1, 2 or 3 Letter Code that begins your calves tattoos. Example: WS 59 T (WS is the Tattoo Prefix for Wisteria Farms) Please have your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices ready.
You may, ahead of time, ask the MGIA office to pre-check the availability of your chosen prefix!
Herd Name/Prefix – is what will precede the names of all your registered calves. Example: Wisteria Farms’ Herd Name is Wisteria…”Wisteria Rip Snorter”
You are now ready to register online!
In an effort to make the registration process as simple as possible, please follow these instructions after clicking the link below:
Step 1 – Under the Association Drop Down Menu choose: Murray Grey International Association
Step 2 – Enter your Member Name (this can be a farm name or your name)
Step 3 – Leave the ID blank (they will assign this to you)
Step 4 – Enter Voting Member Name (your name)
Step 5 – Enter Address/City/State/Zip/etc.
Step 6 – Under Type of Membership Menu choose: Annual Membership
Step 7 – Enter your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices for your Tattoo Prefix
Step 8 – Enter your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices for your Herd Name Prefix
Step 9 – Under FEES please enter:
- Next to Membership $30
- Next to Tattoo $ 8
- Next to Herd Name $ 7
- Ignore the middle columns, these are for Canadian Sales Tax…
- Carry the figures over to the total column at far right…. and total.
Step 10 – Enter your Credit Card info and click SUBMIT.
NOTE: the fees entered are in Canadian Dollars… your credit card will actually be charged LESS because it will convert from Canadian Dollars to U.S. Dollars.
You will receive an email confirmation as well as a receipt and Membership Card in the mail!
